Choosing your liquid amount: Use 60g for a thicker, stiffer consistency — ideal for textured or sculpted pieces. Use 70g for a smoother, more fluid pour — ideal for fine detail molds. Both water and Jesmo Hardener work with Premium.
Phase 1 — Preparation
1
🧮 Set Up Your Scale
Place a mixing bowl on a digital scale and tare (zero) it.
2
🧼 Prepare Your Molds
Ensure molds are clean and dry. Lightly coat the inside with bubble remover spray for a flawless surface finish.
Phase 2 — Mixing
3
💧 Pour Liquid First — 60–70g water or hardener
Pour 60–70g of liquid (water or Jesmo Hardener) into the mixing bowl. Choose your amount based on the consistency note above.
4
🪨 Add Powder — 100g Jesmo Premium Base
Add 100g of Jesmo Premium Base powder on top of the liquid. Do not stir yet.
5
⏱ Saturation Soak
Let the powder sit undisturbed in the liquid. This allows particles to fully saturate and prevents dry clumps.
⏱ 3 minutes
6
🥄 Active Mix
Stir with a spatula until smooth and oil-like.
CRITICAL: Do not exceed 30 seconds of active mixing — over-mixing reduces your working time.
⏱ 30 seconds max
7
💨 Degas
Let the mixture rest briefly to allow trapped air to rise. Spray bubble remover on the surface to pop any visible bubbles.
⏱ 5 seconds
Phase 3 — Pouring & Curing
8
🌊 Primary Pour & Agitate
Fill the molds only halfway. Gently shake or tap the molds to force trapped air to the surface. You have a 3–5 minute working window before Jesmo Premium begins to set.
9
🌊 Final Fill
Pour the remaining mixture to fill the molds completely.
10
⏱ Wait for Leveling
Allow the surface to self-level before scraping.
⏱ 3 minutes
11
🔪 Level the Base
Use a long knife or straight edge to scrape away excess material and level the base of the mold.
12
🧽 Clean Up Immediately
Wash your bowl and tools right away. Once Jesmo Premium hardens it becomes very difficult to remove.
Phase 4 — Demolding
13
⏱ Cure & Demold
Allow the pieces to cure fully before removing from molds. Do not rush demolding.
